About the Photographer Virginia Blosser

The photographer Virginia Blosser (nee Bennett) hails from Crewe, Virginia, where she was born in 1961.  Her work career includes support services for housing and environmental protection programs.

After retiring in 2005, Virginia began a new career helping people find the perfect vacation rental or real estate investment.  She was also able to spend more time on her favorite pastime, enjoying the outdoors.  It only made sense to her to capture the beauty through photos.

Virginia is not a professional photographer, and she doesn’t have thousands of dollars worth of cameras and lenses in her goody bag.  What makes her work special is “a good eye” and the unusual, “off the beaten path” locations she visits.

Sure, you can always buy a framed print of Sedona or Zion or Arches for $500 at some fancy gallery.  Something anyone with a good camera can get by driving right up, setting up a tripod, and shooting.  If that is what you want, that’s fine, but why not opt for something different?

What sets Virginia’s work apart is she takes most of her photos in locations far from the pavement.   Her work captures unique and different natural aspects that you probably won’t see anywhere else.

Now, if you just want a panoramic shot of the Grand Canyon to hang over the sofa, you’d best look elsewhere.  For interesting, evocative and one-of-a-kind photo cards that will please both you and your loved ones, take a look at Virginia’s work.

Oh, and in addition to her products being really nice, so are her prices!  Where else will you find handmade 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ photographic note cards on card stock, with envelopes, for about $1.50 each?
